Is my membership fee tax deductible?
Yes, the American Martial Arts Alliance Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Your membership fees and donations are tax-deductible. You will receive a receipt with the proper tax filing information.
Do I have to become a member to receive grant funding or access other resources?
No, we evaluate emergency humanitarian needs. But we do give consideration first to our Black Belt members and Charter School members because, without their support, funding through our scholarships and grant programs would not be available.
Am I automatically accepted as a Black Belt member or Charter School member?
No, each application will be reviewed for eligibility. We are looking for members with high moral standing in the community, an interest in the future growth of the martial arts, and who exemplify a high standard of leadership. We do realize that leadership is continual growth and a learning experience. This is the reason we have established the American Martial Arts Alliance Institute: to support our members and the martial arts community through personal development training.
